As promised in the March Web exclusive, here are products that caught my eye at the national Farm Machinery Show in Louisville. Some of them have been around a long time. Some are better suited to smaller farms, some to bigger farms. All have one thing in common- they were different than implements I've seen before, even if they're not new.
'You won't find these products in Indiana Prairie Farmer. However, if you're interested in vertical tillage, check out the April issue for a complete rundown. The field of official vertical tillage implements, or those that most people put in that category, has grown to models from nine companies. Some brand new ones were shown at Louisville. Other companies are updating and about to release new models. You won't want to miss this.
For now, take a look at each of these products we discovered. The captions help explain why we thought they were worth sharing with you.
