Senate Recess No Longer Scheduled

Leaders say there is work to be done.

The Senate was supposed to be in recess this week but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has cancelled it saying they have work to do. Senators will report back to the Hill Tuesday evening when at least one roll call is expected. It is not known what that vote might be or what the legislative agenda will look like for the remainder of the week. The House was already scheduled to be in session Wednesday through Friday, their legislative agenda is a mystery at this time as well.
